Entertainment marketing is a great field to enter into
because it is so broad. There are so many forms of entertainment from sports to
music to theatre that there is always need for some form of marketing. The
reason why I decided to enter the field of entertainment marketing was because I
have a great fascination with the entertainment industry. I love what the
industry does for people and the art and talent that are engulfed in it. I specifically
decided to do marketing because of my ability to be great at it. It fascinates
me that one person can be unknown one day and the next day, with the right
amount of marketing and PR, be the next superstar. With the many forms of
marketing and PR there is no way the entertainment industry will not continue
to grow. With the expansion of social media, the entertainment marketing
industry has found a new massive outlet to promote and market. Ideally I would
love to work for a entertainment marketing firm or handle marketing relations
for a major music label or film company. However, I know it is a long way for
me to go and a lot more learning for me to do before I reach that success. I am
however excited and ready for the journey
